Farm Animal Services

Herd Health - We offer various testing  for the eradication and control of several diseases, including Brucellosis, Tuberculosis, Johne's and Scrapie.

We also offer the same list of specialized procedures for equines as listed above including ultrasonography for pregnancy detection, radiology for injured animals and bloodwork (including specialized heavy metals and minerals) for sick animals.

Camelids Llamas and Alpacas: We see the pet camelids as well as fiber producing animals and brood stock.

Wellness exams - may include routine hoof care, annual vaccinations, worming and boosters for vitamin E and selenium to prevent white muscle disease.  We evaluate body scores.

Sickness exams - includes all inclusive detection of disease in the individual as well as environmental factors.  Use of in-house diagnostic equipment such as blood testing, x-ray and ultrasound as well as consultation/referral with specialists at Washington State University Teaching Hospital will be utilized to provide the best care to your production animals.

Surgery - routine surgical castrations, fighting teeth trimming, growth removal, microchip insertion and dehorning.

We offer only ambulatory services for farm animals as we do not have a haul-in facility.  Please be aware that our doctors are there to assist you with your medical and surgical concerns, so it is prudent to have your animal(s) appropriately corraled or restrained.
